DAYTON- UAW Region 2-B announced their support today for Theresa Gasper in her campaign for Congress in the 10th District of Ohio. The endorsement marks UAW’s first in the Ohio congressional races in the 2018 election cycle. Gasper is a fourth generation Dayton native and small business owner.
“We are proud to support Theresa as our first Ohio congressional endorsee,” said Rich Rankin, director for Region 2-B. “Theresa’s small business experience and housing advocacy in the Dayton area show an admirable record of local service. We can count on her support for working families and workers’ rights in Congress. We are ready to join her to flip the 10th District.”
Gasper’s company, Full Circle Development, has been reinvesting in and renovating homes that have fallen into disrepair for the past 12 years.
“UAW’s work exemplify the values that I want to carry with me to Congress,” said Theresa Gasper. “They have been on front lines of the fight for local, good-paying jobs and affordable health care. I am honored to have their support and look forward to fighting together in the months and years to come.”
